The videos on these modules for the dual stream are SO GOOD. First of all it’s great to be able to see/hear you guys especially as a home-study person and secondly so much of the content is covering stuff I was really wondering about (e.g what is meant by emotional support, and the nuances of relationship building with primary care folks). Loving it!!

doula training

Do I need a 200-hour certification to take the course?

While prior teaching experience is helpful, it is not necessary. However, having a background in yoga practice, including familiarity with Sanskrit and English terminology, can enhance your learning experience and assimilation of course content with more flow and ease.

Is this a Yoga Alliance certified program?

Upon successful completion, you are eligible to register with the Yoga Alliance as a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) and will be certified to teach yoga internationally. Completion of the 85-hour prenatal yoga teacher training will earn you the designation of RPYT (Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher) with eligibility to register with Yoga Alliance.

Is the curriculum the same for the self-paced and live virtual programs?

Yes, the prenatal yoga teacher training content is identical for both the online training and the 85-hour self-paced training. The Sacred Birth Prenatal Yoga + Doula Program is a dual certificate program comprising prenatal yoga curriculum and doula curriculum, resulting in two certificates upon completion.

What is the pace of the course and time commitment?

The online yoga teacher training courses offer flexibility, allowing you to progress at your own pace through videos, manuals, and workbooks.

We understand completely the demands and importance of family, tending to small children while juggling work and day-to-day demands. The online yoga teacher training courses allow you to work at your own pace by reviewing the videos and moving through the course manual and workbook at your own time. The live virtual covers most of what you need to know during class hours.

What is your refund policy?

We do not offer refunds for our online courses due to the investment of time and energy in creating course content. However, if you encounter concerns preventing attendance at the live classes, please contact us for assistance and we’ll be happy to move you to the self-directed program.

Do you offer Sacred Birth PYTT without the doula certificate?

Yes, the Sacred Birth Prenatal Yoga is available as a standalone program, offered in both live virtual and self-paced formats. The yoga and conscious birthing curriculum remains consistent across both programs.

Does the self-paced program qualify me for my RPYT designation?

Yes, completing the course requirements qualifies you to register as a Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher (RPYT) with the Yoga Alliance. They will require some teaching hours to finalize your credential.

I don’t plan on attending births. Is the Sacred Birth + Doula Training right for me?

The program offers practical tools to support conscious pregnancy and empowered birth, even if you don’t plan to attend births. The doula certification enhances your understanding of the birthing journey and provides valuable skills for supporting birthing families. The dual certification also opens many doors as a birth professional.

What if I can’t attend the live sessions? What is the general schedule?

Recorded sessions are available for reference if you miss a live session. Approval is required for missed sessions, and unapproved absences may affect certification.

If I am already completing my 200-hour YTT, does this count towards my Con. Ed requirements?

Yes, 🙂 our course fulfills continuing education requirements with the Yoga Alliance, and you can upgrade your Yoga Alliance membership to Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher (RPYT) upon completion.
